Winter in Brazil

Boa noite, from Rio de Janeiro.

I am currently in Rio, visiting some family. My grandmother has an apartment here, so I have been thoroughly enjoying myself, in the beautiful city. I have fallen in love with it. 

This morning, I went to a new mall in a far part of town, Barra, called Village Mall. This mall is a lot like a mall that I went to in Berlin, called KaDeWe. The similarity between the two? They both only have designer stores. Village Mall is the prettiest mall I have ever been to. It only had stores such as Louis Vuitton, Omega, and Prada. It's the kind of mall that you go into just to look at all the pretty expensive things ***

So, I really liked my outfit today, so I took a few photos. I took them on my Grandmother's camera, so they aren't very good quality, and they give off a weird light, but I wanted to show off my outfit! 

               Outfit:- I mention what country I got it from, because even the same brand in different countries has different collections sometimes.
         Top: Blanco (Spain)
         Blazer: H&M (US)
         Necklace: Primark (Germany)
         Ankle Boots: a random store in Paris
         Pants:Zara (Spain)
         Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters (US)
         Satchel Bag: Lesac (Spain)

Good morning, Good Afternoon, or Good Night Wherever You Are!

For my first official post, I wanted to share some photos that I recently got taken by a super talented magical photographer, Anny Barreto. Her website is annybarreto.com .

Basically, I'm half Brazilian, half American. I'm currently in Brazil for seven weeks during summer vacation visiting my family, my parents stayed home working. So I'm visiting friends and family, and it's been jolly so far!

So my mother let me have a photography session with Anny, and I got take photos of five different outfits. I am in love with her intense photography skills. I'll slowly post a few of the looks over the next couple weeks :)

I'm going to post all of these looks to lookbook too. I'm rambling a bit now. But here is the first look that I modeled. We were at a place close to the beach, that is an abandoned club. There were trees around it, and it was kind of spooky, but of course very interesting to photograph in.

                                   In terms of my outfit, I'm wearing:
   Top: X-generation (they don't have a store online sorry)
   Skirt: LF Stores 
   Shoes: Forever 21

                                     For my outfit, I really enjoyed the contrast of the leather peplum skirt, and the white lace top. I think it worked! Comment below telling me what you think, and also your blog, and I'll check it out!
